With the advancement of technology, it was only going to be a matter of time before someone actually came up with a 'real' alternative to the acoustic kit. Often tried before but never quite reached, the Roland V-Drum system appears to hit the nail on the head.

RiCHARD uses the V-Drum for a great deal of his sessions for many reasons. Firstly, it's very, very versatile. Not only is it a kit in the traditional sense, but it can be whatever you want it to be.

An amazing leap forward in 'electronic' drums - because, they simply aren't. All the EZDrummer instruments & packs are recorded acoustic kits, percussion and 'noises' & have been put together in such a way as to make it virtually indistinguishable from an 'extremely' well recorded kit. The user interface is so simple to use & the results, in combination with the V-Drums, it truly jaw-dropping!!
